The brief
This Chartwell project brings together roof, exterior and interior presentation work. The work provides an example of how to discuss roof, exterior and interior priorities when planning painting before a sale.
Prioritising roof and exterior defects
The roof showed deteriorated coating and corroded fixing details. Those areas needed assessment and repair before painting. The exterior scope also addressed presentation around the facade and surrounding areas, with cleaning used where a full repaint was not needed.
Coordinating work for the deadline
When a property has a photography or campaign date, agree the priority surfaces, repairs and access early. The available programme must allow suitable preparation and drying; timing for another property is confirmed against its own scope and conditions.
The presentation result
The completed work included a renewed roof finish alongside wider presentation work before marketing. This project illustrates the value of agreeing the visible priorities early when a property has a fixed photography or sale date.
