The brief
The project photographs show an ageing metal roof, fixing details needing attention and the renewed finish. For a roof in this condition, the inspection and repair scope are an important part of planning the repaint.
Repair and preparation before colour
The work included cleaning, replacing deteriorated screws, preparing local rust and addressing identified gaps before priming. Dealing with these details first was central to the project: the owner needed attention to the roof’s condition as well as its appearance.
Protection and coating
The surrounding gutters and surfaces were protected during application. Prepared and repaired areas were primed, followed by the specified finish coats to produce a more consistent roof colour.
The result and handover
