Detailed preparation, matched to your walls
Sound painted walls may need cleaning, local filling, sanding and spot priming. Wallpaper residue, damaged plasterboard or widespread repairs can need additional sealing or skim coating. We assess these separately so a simple repaint does not become an unexplained plastering bill.

Living at home while we paint
Agree which rooms can close, who moves furniture and how floors and belongings will be protected. Bedrooms, kitchens and shared access routes may need a staged programme. Drying, ventilation and re-entry requirements follow the selected products and actual conditions.
Low odour does not mean there is no need for ventilation. Let us know about pets, children, working from home or any particular product requirements so they can be included in the plan.

Transparent pricing and honest quotes
Paintable wall area differs from floor area. Ceiling height, doors, detailed trim, wallpaper removal, colour changes and occupied-room staging all affect labour. Compare quotes for the same surfaces, preparation and number of coats.

Questions before you book
Can I have just one room painted?
Yes. Tell us the room dimensions and whether you want walls, ceiling and trim included. Small jobs have setup and protection costs, so their rate per square metre can be higher than a whole-home repaint.
Do I need to move out?
Not necessarily. We discuss room staging and access at the quote stage. Some work requires rooms to be kept clear until the specified drying and ventilation conditions are met.
Can you paint during winter?
Yes, when the room and substrate meet the coating manufacturer’s conditions. Cooler temperatures and humidity can extend drying and recoat times.
Do you help with colour and sheen?
We can discuss colour and finish choices as part of the scope. Test samples in your own lighting before the full area is painted.
What workmanship warranty do you provide?
We provide a 10-year interior workmanship warranty. Ask us for the written terms and cover for your project; any product warranty is separate.
