Hamilton exterior house painting and restoration

The brief
The existing weatherboards and window details showed deterioration and needed preparation before a new finish. The project scope included cladding, soffits, windows and doors, with different preparation needs across those surfaces.
Repairing the surface before painting
Failed putty, window sills and weatherboard corners needed attention before the coating work. Preparing those details helped bring the cladding and joinery into one coordinated finish. Timber or glazing defects need repairs suited to their condition, with curing time allowed before painting.
Protecting the glass and surrounding surfaces
Liquid masking around selected windows formed part of the protection strategy. The preparation photographs show this stage before completion, offering homeowners a closer look at the care involved around the glass and joinery.
Cladding and joinery finishes
The finished photographs show the refreshed weatherboards, soffits and contrasting joinery. For a similar exterior, agree the products and finish for each surface in the written quote.
