The brief
This Rototuna project brings roof metal, stucco walls and aluminium joinery into one exterior scope. The photographs show the home and the renewed colour scheme across those different surfaces.
Different surfaces, different preparation
The metal roof, aluminium joinery and stucco each required their own preparation and compatible coating approach. Attention to adhesion on the joinery was especially relevant to this project. Assessing the surfaces separately allowed the exterior work to be coordinated in one scope.
Protecting and sequencing the work
Windows and surrounding surfaces were masked, and coating stages were arranged around preparation and drying requirements. Bringing the roof, walls and joinery into the same programme helped coordinate the work across the property.
The result
